Dean M. Xenos

Mr. Xenos has more than 17 years experience with business development, corporate operations, software and communications technologies, expert systems development, and project management. Prior to co-founding LEROS, Mr. Xenos served as director of operations and systems engineering for SONEX Enterprises, Incorporated. He brings an important mix of leadership, management, and technical skill to lead LEROS.
His technical background includes research and development of advanced software centric technologies and development methodologies, quality assurance programs for voice/data switched networks and integrated system, and telecommunications management. He was critical to the conception, research and development of the company's Intelligent Agent Definition (IAD Toolkit) while serving as product software engineer and project manager of its research and development.
Mr. Xenos holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering with emphasis in Information Systems from Lehigh University and a M.S. in Software/Systems Engineering from George Mason University.

Moataz Ahmed, Ph.D.

Dr. Ahmed has served as the head of the internal research and development program of LEROS since 2002. He is responsible for providing direction of the process, methodology, and technology adopted for the development of LEROS' proprietary infrastructure and products; e.g., the internal reuse technology and the LEROSnet Agent integrated Internet, Intranet, Extranet (IIE) Environment products. He was also the principal investigator for the research and development of the Intelligent Agent Definition Toolkit (IAD Toolkit). The IAD Toolkit provides cost-effective means of capturing, specifying, and developing event-driven behaviors that organizations need in their day-to-activities.
Prior to joining LEROS in 1997, Dr. Ahmed was the Technology Development Director of SONEX Enterprises, Inc., where he was the architect for the Independent/Integrated System Assurance (ISA) software tool suite. Technology initiatives associated with this work included the application of expert systems and other artificial intelligence technologies to requirement specification analysis, natural language processing, and decision transitivity capture.
Rounding out his 16 years of expience, Dr. Ahmed also worked as a software designer, requirements engineer, software architectural designer, and Information engineering consultant in numerous software houses overseas. Dr. Ahmed, also, worked as an adjunct professor in a number of universities in the United States as well as overseas.
Dr. Ahmed is a member of a number of professional associations. His research interests include software metrics; soft computing based software engineering especially software testing and cost estimation; intelligent agents; and case-Based reasoning, especially knowledge reuse. He has published a number of technical papers in refereed journals and conferences in these areas of research. Dr. Ahmed was a reviewer and referee for a number of technical journals and conferences. He was a technical guest editor of two issues of the
Information Sciences Journal
(2002 and 2003).
Dr. Ahmed holds a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Alexandria University, Egypt; and a Ph.D. in Information Technology from George Mason University. Dr. Ahmed was classified as Outstanding Researcher by the US Immigration and Naturalization Service, 1997.

Donnell Hughes

Mr. Hughes is responsible for the design of the LEROSnet Solutions and development of the LEROS Agent Software applications. Mr. Hughes has more than 10 years experience in the areas of software design and project management. Mr. Hughes came to LEROS in 1997 from SONEX Enterprises, Inc. where he was the lead developer for expert systems. His experience includes: expert systems application development, cost and schedule control system implementation, and application programming.
He holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Yale University.

Harry S. Lewis, Jr.

Director, Public Sector/Consulting

Mr. Lewis is responsible for supporting customer required consultative services beyond those provided under the managed solution offering as well as supporting the unique needs of public sector customers. In this capacity he oversees and supports public sector business development and engagement performance management. Mr. Lewis joined the company following a successful career in test and evaluation of military systems, including head of test and evaluation for the F/A-18 Program Office at the Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD; a role with LOGICON, Inc. supporting the AEGIS shipbuilding Combat Systems T&E Department; Navy staff member in the OPNAV Assessment Division for Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Pentagon, Washington, DC; and pilot for developmental test flights in the A06E Intruder for Naval Air Weapons Command.
Mr. Lewis holds a B.S. in business from Indiana University, an M.S. in Technology Management from George Mason University, and CIO Certificate in Federal Executive Competencies.

Ming H. Cheung, CPA

Mr. Cheung is responsible for controlling and supporting the financial and administrative elements of the corporation. Originally joining the firm in 1991 Mr. Cheung has supported all aspects of accounting, contract administration, and general corporate administration. Prior to his employment with LEROS, Mr. Cheung worked at Pannell Kerr Forster, PC, Alexandria, Virginia as a senior staff member.
He earned his Bachelor of Accountancy from The George Washington University.
